Woodshop

SA/VS has a full-service woodshop adjacent to the 3-d Foundation studio on the first floor of the Art and Visual Studies Building. The Woodshop contains virtually every kind of equipment one would need working with wood, from hand tools to table saws. Connecting the Woodshop to the 3-d Foundation studios is a room-size spray booth, which students and faculty are required to use exclusively for all spray applications needed for course and individual projects within the Art and Visual Studies Building.
Use of the Woodshop equipment is by permission only and must follow regularly scheduled safety training by the Woodshop staff. Please also consult the woodshop safety manual on the CFA intranet.
The woodshop is located on the main floor of the Art and Visual Studies Building in room 130. There is a wheelchair-accessible entrance on the Broadway-facing parking lot.
