Plan Your Visit

In line with UK’s response to COVID-19, the Singletary Center for the Arts will be closed to the public until further notice. All spring events have been cancelled or postponed. This difficult decision was made to ensure the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, community, and visitors.

As we have learned, the CDC recommends that one of the most effective measures for controlling the spread of COVID-19 is through social distancing. As a public institution it is our responsibility to follow these guidelines, as well as the plans set forth by the University.

We will provide updates on our website and social media.

The Singletary Center is open year round, excluding major University holidays. If you are planning a trip to the Singletary Center and need information on parking or directions, please click on the drop down menus. If you need to speak to someone about bringing a school group, contact Hong Shao at 859-257-2414.

Concert and Recital Hall doors are open 30 minutes prior to the start of all performances for seating. If arriving early, patrons are encouraged to tour the Art Museum, mingle in the lobby and relax in the President's Room.

Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the sponsoring organization. Many performers allow for patrons to come and go, however larger groups and orchestras do not allow seating if in the middle of a piece. Please check with the ushers to see when you will be allowed to enter the hall.

Coat check is open throughout all performances and can answer any questions you might have.
