The UK School of Music comprises a number of buildings and facilities across campus. The main Music offices, classrooms, and practice rooms are located in the Fine Arts Building. Most concerts and large ensemble rehearsals are held in the Singletary Center for the Arts. The University's Music Library is in the Lucille C. Little Fine Arts Library. Off the lobby of the library is the gallery of the John Jacob Niles Center for American Music, where numerous lectures and small performances are held. The Schmidt Vocal Arts Center across Rose Street is the home of UK Opera Theatre. Some offices and faculty studios are located in other outlying buildings nearby. The School also makes occasional use of Memorial Hall, the iconic building whose clock tower used to form part of the original UK logo that can still be seen across campus.
