The School of Art & Visual Studies is primarily located in the School of Art and Visual Studies Building, which houses all art education and art studio labs and studios with the exception of metal working.  Art History & Visual Studies faculty have their offices in the Fine Arts Building and some art history and visual culture courses are taught in Fine Arts.  Adjacent to Fine Arts is the Lucille Little Fine Arts Library which possesses a top-flight art history research library.  SA/VS possesses a full-service metal shop about a 1,000 feet from the SA/VS Building for large scale metal work.  In the SA/VS building are classrooms, state-of-the-art computer labs, and studios that service Foundations, beginning sculpture, ceramics, fiber, painting, drawing, print media, photography, 3-d fabrication, animation, video, graphic and web design, studios for MFA and BFA students, and the Bolivar Art Gallery.
