ARTIST BIO

Tomasz Winiarski was born in 1982 in Bielsko-Biala, Poland. In the years 2003-2008 he studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Art in Krakow which he completed with a thesis in the Intaglio Studio. In his work he mainly uses metal techniques. For over 14 years he has been continuing his graphic series entitled "Perpetuum mobile", which currently consists of over 100 prints made in classic mezzotint and drypoint techniques. His prints have been exhibited in over 200 national and international exhibitions (Armenia, Austria, China, France, Greece, Spain, Japan, Canada, Lithuania, Mexico, Germany, Norway, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, USA).
