Hurricane Relief Pop-Art Sale
In response to the devastating effects of recent hurricane-related flooding, the Bolivar Art Gallery at the University of Kentucky will host a one-time Pop-Up Art Sale. This initiative will feature a collection of vibrant artworks by our esteemed faculty and talented local artists, with proceeds being donated to charities providing direct aid to those impacted by the disaster.
The flooding directly impacted two of the artists our gallery intended to feature in October. Rather than leave the space empty, the faculty and other local artists have decided to host a pop-up exhibition and art sale to give back to the southeastern region that has been devastated. We want to transform this unfortunate situation into an opportunity for community support and solidarity. We invite art lovers, community members, and anyone looking to make a difference to join us for this special event.
Artworks will be on view during regular gallery hours from Monday October 21st.

Every piece sold will contribute to the long-term recovery efforts in the Southeast, where rebuilding will take years. By coming together as a community, we can help those in need and show that art has the power to heal.
The charities benefiting from the sale of the work are:
Appalachian Funders Network (https://www.appalachiafunders.org)
