Anne McAlexander

Anne McAlexander is a Director, Choreographer, and Educator. She recently completed her Master of Fine Arts in Directing at the Ohio University. She received her BFA in Musical theatre performance from SUNY Fredonia.

Professional accomplishments include Associate Artistic Director at Summer Repertory Theatre Festival, Santa Rosa, CA where she also Directed and Choreographed West Side Story, Clybourne Park, Chicago, Tartuffe, Nice Work If You Can Get It, among others. She has choreographed musicals at Boston University, Fiddlehead Theatre in Boston, Belmont University, SUNY Fredonia, and most recently she Directed and Choreographed Cabaret at Ohio University.

Anne is also the Head of Theatre at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in New York. She has 28 years of experience in Ballet, 23 years of experience in Jazz, 21 years in Tap, and 13 years in Modern dance.
