Theatre and Dance Areas of Study

The University of Kentucky Department of Theatre & Dance is grounded in the belief that theatre is a fundamental cultural necessity that enriches all who participate in it. Our program emphasizes the practical and the theoretical, and is geared toward students who are interested in theatre as a part of a liberal arts education as well as those who might wish to pursue further professional training or a career in theatre.
