DOTD student Autrey Brown enjoyed her first Off-Broadway credit this summer with professor Kate Field.
Department of Theatre and Dance Scenic Design assistant professor Kate Field served as Props Supervisor for the new Off-Broadway premiere of The Meeting: The Interpreter, written by Catherine Gropper and directed by Brian Mertes. The show, which ran at the Theatre at St. Clements July through August, starred Tony-winner Frank Wood and one of the stars of HBO's The Gilded Age, Kelley Curran.
The show featured a live performance and a live camera feed/projections on the set.
Field brought on undergraduate student and theatre major Autrey Brown to spend one month in New York City as the Properties Assistant, where she got professional experience and her first Off-Broadway credit.
