The University of Kentucky School of Music and UK Bands are excited to announce our first KMEA All-State Audition Preparation Clinic for Winds, Brass, and Percussion students!
This free event will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, with on-site check in beginning at 8:30am and presentations held from 9am-11am. Pre-registration is required in order for us to prepare for the appropriate number of students.
Our acclaimed UK faculty members on flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba, euphonium, and percussion will present clinics on the all-state audition etudes for their instruments. Guidance will also be offered on sight-reading strategies, scale preparation, and methods for coping with performance anxiety.
