Appalachia in the Bluegrass: Tall, Dark, and Handsome 4

TDH4 a/k/a Tall Dark and Handsome-- Karen Jones on fiddle, Bev Futrell on guitar,  George Neel  on mandolin and Nathan Wilson on bass.  Karen and Bev, also members of the Reel World String Band, teamed up with long time friend George Neel, an accomplished jazz musician to form this trio in 1993. Nathan Wilson joined in 2021 on bass. Dust Devils On Our Heels, was released in 2013 followed by Rock Me Away in 2016. The country inspired songwriting of Bev Futrell grounds this quartet with its lyrical  expression of place, while the musical prowess of Karen on violin, George on mandolin and Nathan on bass connects us to the rich repertoire of folk and acoustic jazz standards.  TDH4 is based in Lexington, Kentucky
