Hailing from the scenic hills of Eastern Kentucky, Taylor Jewell is a distinguished Pinnacle Scholar and musician celebrated for her contributions to the region's music scene. She earned Bachelor of Music degrees in Flute Performance and Music Industry from the Eastern Kentucky University School of Music.

Taylor previously served as the Executive Director of the Lexington Chamber Orchestra and the Chamber Music Festival of Lexington, where she revitalized the Festival’s Composer-in-Residence Program and introduced its first female composer in 16 years.

In addition to her musical accomplishments, Taylor is an award-winning arts administrator. She was honored with the Eastern Kentucky Entrepreneurship Award for her pioneering research on accessibility in the performing arts.

Passionate about the nexus of marketing and ticketing, Taylor joined the University of Kentucky Singletary Center for the Arts as the Marketing & Ticketing Director. There, she played a key role in the reopening of the SCFA Ticket Office after a 17-month hiatus, now managing over 150 ticketed events each season.

Taylor also holds a Master of Arts in Arts Administration, with a certificate in Fundraising and Development, from the University of Kentucky. Outside of her role at the ticket office, she is an avid researcher of consumer behavior and guest lectures in marketing classes for both the UK Department of Arts Administration and the EKU College of Business.
