KMEA All-State Audition Preparation Clinic for Winds, Brass, and Percussion Students

The University of Kentucky School of Music and UK Bands are excited to announce our second KMEA All-State Audition Preparation Clinic for Winds, Brass, and Percussion students!

This free event will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, with on-site check in beginning at 8:30pm and presentations held from 9am-11:30am. Our acclaimed UK faculty members on flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba, euphonium, and percussion will present clinics on the all-state audition etudes for their instruments. Guidance will also be offered on sight-reading strategies, scale preparation, and methods for coping with performance anxiety.

On-site check-in will be in the lobby of the Singletary Center for the Arts with an opening session at 9 a.m. in the Singletary Recital Hall. The event is free but pre-registration is required in order for us to prepare for the appropriate number of students.
