2027 University of Kentucky Concert Band Festival
The University of Kentucky Bands Concert Band Festival, presented by Music for All and the College of Fine Arts, is Kentucky’s premier concert band festival.
Middle and high school bands from the commonwealth of Kentucky and beyond are invited to register to perform on the beautiful Singletary Center for the Arts stage. Performing ensembles will receive invaluable feedback from our panel of esteemed clinicians, and they will have the opportunity to work with one of the clinicians in a 25-minute session. Performing ensembles are expected to attend two other performances, meaning each ensemble can expect to perform for an educated and appreciative audience.
There are no ratings or rankings as part of this festival, all feedback is designed to promote growth for your students. Additionally, there is no mandated repertoire list - directors are free to select any program they wish.
Each performing ensemble will receive:
- A performance opportunity in the Singletary Concert Hall
- Recorded evaluations and comments from our clinicians
- A post-performance clinic with one of our clinicians
- A high-quality performance recording
- A participation plaque
