The UK New Music Ensemble presents a compelling program that explores the intersections of contemporary musical thought across cultures. Featuring works by Manuel de Elías, Sofia Gubaidulina, and Toshio Hosokawa—three composers whose contributions have significantly shaped the global landscape of modern composition—the program reflects a commitment to artistic depth and international dialogue.

This season also includes two world premieres: a new work by Francisco García Ledesma and a specially commissioned piece by guest composer John Rivera Pico. These additions underscore the ensemble’s dedication to fostering new voices and expanding the repertoire through active collaboration with living composers.

Together, these works offer a rich tapestry of sonic exploration, inviting audiences to engage with diverse aesthetic perspectives and the evolving language of contemporary music.
