Singletary Center presents Sergei Nakariakov

A true musical innovator, Nakariakov has helped bring the flugelhorn into the spotlight as a serious concert instrument, and his repertoire reaches far beyond the traditional trumpet canon. He is constantly searching for new ways to explore and expand the instrument, performing fascinating transcriptions and new works commissioned from composers including Jörg Widmann, Uri Brener, Peter Ruzicka, Enjott Schneider, and Mikhail Pletnev.
