Alexander Smith and Nežka Prosenjak Solo Recital

Alexander Smith and Nežka Prosenjak are world-class percussionists based in Switzerland, coming to Lexington to perform two concerts. The first, a solo recital by themselves on February 10th at 7:30 features new works and classical pieces for percussion. The second event (February 12th at 7:30 PM), is a feature work by composer Julian Sartorius where the UK Percussion Ensemble will join the guests for the hour-long concert. This concert features audience involvement and participation, creating a community collaboration event in creating the piece together.
