Board Certified Music Therapist
Music is a powerful tool that enhances quality of life, fosters community and creativity, and promotes healthy aging throughout our lives. As a board-certified music therapist with over a decade of clinical and teaching experience, I translate evidence-based practices to real-world applications through graduate coursework in music and Parkinson's disease, telehealth practice, and drumming for health and wellness. I advise graduate students, serve on thesis committees, and mentor emerging music therapy researchers. My clinical and teaching experience ground my research agenda at the intersection of music and the aging brain.
