This show is co-curated and co-produced by Zachary Hall and Becca Joiner. Hall is pursuing an MFA in curatorial studies while Joiner is pursuing an MFA in studio art. Both Hall and Joiner have collaborated to document potluck meals hosted by various Lexington community members. By documenting the relationships that form around the dinner table, the exhibition foregrounds art as not just an object to be viewed but as a process of making connections. In this way, the hosts and their guests become the artists, creating art through the foods and personal histories they bring into each home.

● An opening reception will be on October 9th in the Bolivar Gallery from 4:30-7 pm. Participants are encouraged to participate in the exhibition by bringing a homemade dish of personal significance.

● The exhibition will reopen at The Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning in January. Please refer to the Carnegie Center website for more information.
