Earth Tones features three regional artists – Catharine Ellis, Amanda Brazier, and Josh Copus – who use local and natural materials to form, color, and inspire their works.  The slow process of wild-harvesting and cultivating raw materials on a small scale not only provides a beautifully cohesive color palette and tone but fosters curiosity, respect, and a sense of belonging to the local ecology and geology of the surrounding region. This exhibition is curated by Jessamine Michler, 3rd year Curatorial Studies MFA student.

Opening reception: Thursday, October 2 @5-7pm
Josh Copus artist talk: Friday, October 3 @noon in Bolivar Art Gallery
