Mark H. Summers

Dr. Mark H. Summers is an Instructor of Art History at the University of Kentucky. His research interests include cultural exchange in the medieval Mediterranean, intersections between scientific thought and artistic practice, and materiality of visual art. He earned his Ph.D. in Art History with a minor in the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
