Zach is a writer and editor, most recently serving as publications manager at International Arts & Artists, a nonprofit organization that serves small-to-mid-sized art museums in the United States and abroad.
In 2021, he served as editor for the book Washi Transformed: New Expressions in Japanese Paper (Scala Arts Publishers, Inc.). In 2015, Zach co-launched the peer-reviewed journal Arts & International Artists as its first managing editor. He subsequently served as the publication's associate editor.
Prior to IA&A, Zach held publishing and program development roles at the Policy Studies Organization in Washington, DC, and served in 2017 as coordinator for the Global Cultural Fellows Program at the University of Edinburgh's Institute for International Cultural Relations.
Zach obtained a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies from George Mason University. He also holds an M.A. in Arts Journalism from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University and a B.A. from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
