Courtney Evans

Courtney Evans is the Administrative Coordinator for the Department of Arts Administration, providing support to students, faculty, and staff in the College of Fine Arts. In this role, she oversees a wide range of administrative duties, including student admissions, scholarship coordination, and course scheduling.

In her previous professional role, Courtney served for two years as the co-teacher of the choral program and assistant director of the theater program at Lexington Middle School (formerly Lexington Traditional Magnet). Lexington Middle School has recently transitioned into a Visual and Performing Arts school, expanding access to the arts and providing students the opportunity to learn a diverse range of arts disciplines through an integrated arts curriculum.

As an active participant in the arts, Courtney has extensive experience with choral music, having performed in choirs since 2009. Courtney holds a B.S. in Psychology, with a minor in Music, from Centre College. During her time at Centre, Courtney performed as a member of the Centre Singers and was their choral assistant for two years. Courtney maintains her love for singing as a current member of the Lexington Singers.
