High School Theatre Day 2026

We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity for high school students to deepen their theatre training and explore the program at the University of Kentucky.

Participants will take part in theatre workshops led by UK Theatre & Dance faculty, attend a showcase of excerpts from a season production, and participate in a Q&A with the student cast and production team. Students will also select from a range of master classes taught by UK faculty. The day includes a guided tour of the UK campus.

All participants will receive lunch at the Gatton Student Center’s Champions Kitchen!

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
9:30 -10am - Sign-in (Fine Arts Building Lobby, 465 Rose Street)
10:00 -11:30am- (Guignol Theatre)
11:30am -12:45pm - Complimentary Lunch (Champions Kitchen, Gatton Student Center)
1:00-2:15pm - Your choice of theatre workshop (TBD)
2:15-3pm - Tour of Theatre & Dance Spaces
