Kayla Thomas

Kayla is a graduate of UK with a bachelor's degree in English. She earned her Master of Fine Arts from Indiana University Bloomington. After completing her MFA, she spent five months in Greece as a visiting professor teaching courses on literature and creative writing. She joins PAE and the College of Fine Arts after serving in major and annual giving roles for Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN; the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University; and the Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, NC. 

Kayla is an avid reader, writer and baker and enjoys scoping out local parks with her husband and their three-year-old son, Emmett. After eleven years away from the Bluegrass State, Kayla is excited to be back home and welcomes all bakery and restaurant recommendations!
