The UK Art Museum continues to add new works to our permanent collection, building on strengths and addressing gaps in our holdings. Through strategic purchases and generous donations, we are able to build a significant set of works that can be used by faculty and students and shared with citizens of the Commonwealth.

In 2025, we brought art by Israel Campos, Leon Golub, Robert Rauschenberg, Aaron Skolnick, and Nadya Tolokonnikova/Pussy Riot into the collection. Poet and critic John Yau gifted several of his collaborations with artists to us, including bookworks and drawings made with Tom Burkhardt, Max Gimblett, Suzanne McClelland, Archie Rand, and others.
