Rachel Hooper, Ph.D.
Curator
Rachel Hooper is curator of the University of Kentucky Art Museum, where she strategically develops a permanent collection of over 5,000 artworks and organizes the Robert C. May Endowed Speaker Series on photography. She was previously associate curator at Blaffer Art Museum at the University of Houston, where she organized multidisciplinary artist residencies through the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts, and curatorial fellow at the Walker Art Center. Dr. Hooper has an MA from the Williams College Graduate Program in the History of Art and a Ph.D. in art history from Rice University.
