Special Lecture: Laura Katzman 

Professor and scholar Laura Katzman discusses her acclaimed exhibition Ben Shahn: On Nonconformity, the artist’s first retrospective in nearly half a century. It was presented at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid in 2023-24, and then at the Jewish Museum in New York City in 2025. Dr. Katzman will address Shahn’s engagement with issues of immigration, justice, and protest and his relevance today.
