Meet the Artists in Ecstatic Personas

Preview the exhibition in the main gallery, Ecstatic Personas, and meet the three participating artists—Shannon Alonzo, Jiha Moon, and Carlos Rosales-Silva. They will travel to Lexington to install their artworks, and this event will be an opportunity to learn more about their lives and creative practices. The artists share a passion for finding common ground and bringing light to intersectional identities that would otherwise become invisible. They will respond to a vital theme in the exhibition— that joy has the power to help solve challenges whether they be personal, familial, or societal. Happiness helps equip us to navigate society’s most pressing issues, if undertaken with a healthy dose of criticality.
