Practicum

On stage or behind the scenes, practica provide students with real-world, hands-on experience in a variety of jobs during our production season. Whether you assist with scenic, light or sound design, or let your talents soar on stage, there is a practicum section that satisfies your artistic and professional goals. The Scene Shop and Costume Studio have many positions for students each semester. Students may repeat the Practicum to a maximum of 8 credit hours. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor and filing of prospectus.

Internship

The Department of Theatre & Dance encourages students to bridge the divide between academic study and the professional world by participating in an internship program for academic credit. Internships are crucial for networking and exposure to professional standards and ideals. Faculty can help place students in an internship of their choice. Career Center.
