Melanie Turner

Melanie Turner is the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Theatre & Dance. She holds a M.A. degree in Arts Administration and a B.A. degree in Theatre with a minor in History from the University of Kentucky.  Melanie lived in New York City for 10 years and worked as an Executive Assistant in multiple Commercial Real Estate companies before returning to Lexington in 2011 to work in the Department of Theatre and Dance. When she isn’t in Room 114 in the Fine Arts Building or in the Guignol Lobby serving as the mainstage season House Manager, she is reading a good book, binge watching the Investigative Discovery Channel or Dateline, or spending hours devouring the Sunday New York Times. She also loves spending time with her family, friends, and two beloved dogs, Ollie and Maxx.
