Mason Fryman

INTERESTS: UK Chorale, Men's Chorus, and AcoUstiKats 

Mason is a junior at UK majoring in Theatre with a minor in Vocal Performance and a member of the Musical Theatre Certificate program. After finding his deep passion for performing through choir and contemporary a cappella, choir played a major role in his life as he says it’s one of the influences that shaped him into the man he is today. While also being an experienced audio and visual technician, Mason discovered a love for musical theatre after being a part of several Conner High School’s musicals. Upon hearing the AcoUstiKats sing at his first visit to UK, Mason was set on coming here to perform with the ensembles. Mason is a well-versed student within the College of Fine Arts as he has been a part of 5 UK ensembles, performed in UK Opera Theatre, and has been Peer Mentor for the Creative Arts Living Learning Program. Mason has a burning passion for music and theatre and loves to engage in many performance opportunities on campus. Some of his favorite moments at UK have been with the UK choirs. He says that being an AcoUstiKat is one of his dreams come true and that he loves to make music here every day. 


I wanted to become a CFA Student Ambassador so I can show potential students the same amazing things I witnessed upon touring UK for the first time. One CFA Ambassador guided me through a day in their life as a wildcat, and I knew that this was going to be the place that I would call home.
