The College of Fine Arts offers a variety of programs each summer and we are thrilled to offer most of our programming in person in 2021!

Adult Community Classes

Fine Arts Institute | dates vary, in person
Classes and workshops are open to the public age 18 and up from woodworking, metalworking, ceramics, textiles, digital art, and more

Pre-College and College

Musical Theatre Intensive | June 7 - 11 in person
An immersive week-long program that aims to enhance skills in acting and voice for high school artists, positioning them for a more successful collegiate study and professional careers on stage

Dance Intensive | June 7 - 11 in person
Housing available for this intensive with Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Body Conditioning, Improvisation, and Choreography

Trumpet Institute | June 7 - 10 online
Work with highly acclaimed guest artists from around the United States, daily masterclasses, performance opportunities, and concerts for the High School and College level trumpet students

Junior Trumpet Institute | June 7 - 10 online
Tailored for Middle School trumpet players, classes will be geared toward younger players with an emphasis on sound production, breathing, reading, ensemble playing, and other fundamental skills

Professional Development

Music Education Summer Training | May - July varies, online and in person
Training in Orff Schulwerk, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, and Modern Band, on campus and online, course credit available
