Music for All is a week-long half-day summer music camp for elementary school students (grades K-5) with and without disabilities.*  Students will have opportunities to sing, play instruments, move to music, and create music while learning, having fun, and making new friends.  The camp will be led by UK School of Music Faculty and graduate students who are board-certified music therapists, in collaboration with music educators.  The camp will run concurrently with the Orff for All Learners workshop, led by Dr. Olivia Yinger and special guest and Orff teacher Sarah Richardson, where in-service music educators come to UK to learn how to collaborate with music therapists and to effectively teach music to students with disabilities in inclusive settings.

Registered children and parents may also be eligible to participate in a UK research study evaluating the impact of an inclusive music summer camp. Parents will be compensated for their time.

Parents are invited to a camp showcase at 4:00pm on the final day of camp, where children will have the opportunity to share what they have been working on during the week.

Online registration is open now! Contact Olivia Yinger with questions about the camp and/or research study at 859-218-0997 or Olivia.yinger@uky.edu.

*Children must be able to use the toilet independently in order to attend.
