Lindsey Kovach

INTERESTS: Flute, Wind Symphony, Wildcat Marching Band, Pep Band

Having grown up in Columbus, Ohio, Lindsey has been playing the flute for nine years and plans to pursue a career in both performance and education. She is a piccolo section leader in the Wildcat Marching Band and is a member of the Pep Band, Wind Symphony and Flute Ensemble. This is also her second year serving as a CFA student ambassador. She is a sister of the Delta Omega chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota and the Eta Zeta chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, serves as recruitment chair for the UK chapter of cNAFME, and even teaches piano lessons with the Piano Preparatory Program. Outside of CFA, Lindsey is a member of the Lewis Honors College. One of her favorite parts of being a CFA student are the travel opportunities. Some of her favorite trips have been going to New York City to perform in Carnegie Hall and Orlando, Florida for the 2018 Citrus Bowl.

REASON FOR BECOMING AN AMBASSADOR

I wanted to become a CFA Student Ambassador to help prospective students learn about the programs offered here so that they can make an informed college decision. I'm excited to share my experiences and help future students make the decision to come to UK!
