Songwriter Workshop with St. Lenox

Singer-songwriter St. Lenox will participate in a multi-day residency this week at University of Kentucky Division of Musicology and Ethnomusicology.  For those interested in the song and lyric-writing process, his visit, will include a songwriting session beginning at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27, in the Niles Gallery, located in the Lucille C. Little Fine Arts Library and Learning Center. The workshop is free and open to the public.

High School Dance Day 2019

Interested in the dance program at UK? Join program director Susie Thiel and instructor Anthony Alterio for a Saturday of classes and discussions. Students will participate in a modern dance class, hip hop class, and a discussion about the concert. 1 free ticket for the dance concert that night will be made available to each student after completion of the modern dance class. Parents or chaperones wishing to purchase a ticket may do so at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center Box Office.

A hands-on art experience at the UK School of Art and Visual Studies (SA/VS) for juniors and seniors, their parents and their teachers. Join us for a day of demonstrations and workshops in the Art and Visual Studies Building on Bolivar Street. The day of workshops will end with an optional group activity or campus tour.
