Gallery of Dreams presented by Red Shoe Crew

The Red Shoe Crew presents "Gallery of Dreams" Children's Art Gallery in the SCFA President's Room.

The exhibit is open from 6:00-8:00pm.

Families staying at the Ronald McDonald House may receive free admission at the SCFA ticket office.

Monument Quilt Square Making

Survivors and allies, make your own quilt square that will be displayed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Tools and materials will be provided.

This is part of the national Monument Quilt project, a public healing space for and by survivors of rape and abuse. A collaborative project among a faculty member, student, and an alumna in the School of Art and Visual Studies.

Christopher Manzione Guest Artist Lecture

Christopher Manzione is currently Assistant Professor in Visual Arts and Technology at Stevens Institute of Technology. He earned his M.F.A. from Rutgers University in 2009. He is founder and director of the Virtual Public Art Project, an organization that uses Augmented Reality to produce original artist works in public space.

Lani Hotch

Lani Hotch is one of a new generation of weavers from Chilkat. She was born in Klukwan and descends from a long line of weavers including Jennie Warren, Mary Willard, and Saantaas', her name sake. Lani first began learning Chilkat Weaving from her grandmother Jennie Warren in the mid 1970's but her grandmother passed away in March 1977 and Lani's pursuit of the art was halted temporarily.
