In a sixty-minute surrealist musing, poets Sylvia Plath and May Ayim share an impossible chance encounter at Virginia Woolf's grave. Both have made a pilgrimage in search of answers to the questions that linger years after Woolf's death: is suicide an inevitability of rare female genius, or the byproduct of a legacy Woolf inadvertently started?

AUDITION - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Auditions for A Midsummer Night’s Dream will take place on Tuesday, January 21 at 5:00 pm and Wednesday, January 22 at 5:00 pm in the Briggs Theatre, Room 127 Fine Arts Building. You can sign up to audition for either date. Please note there will be a Dance Call on Wednesday, January 22 at 6:00 pm in the Dance Studio, Room 117, Fine Arts Building. The Dance Call is specific to those who are auditioning for the Fairies, including Puck, Oberon, and Titana. A sign-up sheet will be posted on the call board outside the Theatre & Dance Office.

Auditions for Machinal will be held on Tuesday, September 3 at 6:30 pm in the Briggs Theatre, Room 127 Fine Arts. Call backs will be on Wednesday, September 4 at 6:30 pm in the Briggs Theatre.

Please prepare a 1-minute dramatic monologue. Monologues from Machinal are welcome, but not required.

Also, please bring your headshot and resume. A sign-up sheet is posted on the call board located in the hall outside the Theatre & Dance Office (Room 114).
