Riley is a sophomore at the University of Kentucky double majoring an Art Studio and Art Education and minoring in dance. This is her second year as a member in the Creative Arts Living Learning Program and first as a peer mentor. In addition, she is a part of the art education student chapter. Before coming to college Riley was a part of the art club, yoga club, and taught at her local dance studio in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She has performed for multiple charities’ in her hometown along with dancing in the Macy’s Day Parade with Spirit of America. When Riley is not in class she enjoys working on her dance and art skills along with creating events for the LLP. Riley’s freshman year of college was a truly an amazing experience because of the Creative Arts LLP. She wanted to provide the same experiences she received from the LLP, because she was given a family when she needed one the most. Coming to college is intimidating and the Creative Arts LLP not only gives her a group of friends that will be there no matter what, but also provides her with connections for future jobs in the arts.
