Writing Workshop 2: Illumination
Lexington-based writer Randi Ewing leads three independent but connected workshops that use current Museum exhibitions as writing prompts.
Randi Ewing examines the ways that writers, like artists, foreground certain details and background others. Participants use the Illumination installation to generate new work of heightened focus and tension.
Ewing has taught creative writing at Washington University in St. Louis, Eastern Kentucky University, and the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning. Her fiction has appeared in American Short Fiction, Little Star, and Joyland. Writers of all levels and genres welcome.
