Take a break from your day and join us virtually to look at and discuss artwork over the lunch hour. Eat/Art is the UK Art Museum's series of mealtime dialogues about art from our collection and exhibitions.
This week we will be looking at prints from Juan Genoves' El Lugar y el Tiempo (The Time and the Place) series. Originally created in the final years of Franco's regime in Spain, these stark silhouettes of figures and crowds depict unrest and protest to stirring effect.
Hosted by Education Coordinator Dan Solberg alongside Curatorial Studies Intern Sydney Mullins, this event will be presented on Zoom. Please preregister.
Zoom is a free service, but if you are a new user, we recommend that you download it to your device prior to the scheduled talks.
