Arts Administration Development Fund

Gifts to the Arts Administration Development Fund provide much needed general discretionary support for our students' and faculties' needs and pursuits including but not limited to field trips, national and international travel, internship support, and program events.

The Department of Arts Administration students are regularly developing experiential learning opportunities through partnerships and initiatives in our community and these funds go to support their success as well.

Emerging Arts Leader Award Fund

The Emerging Arts Leader Award Fund was established in 2017 as part of the 30th anniversary celebration of Arts Administration at the University of Kentucky. Cash awards will be provided to students annually who demonstrate leadership, initiative, and a strong commitment to the arts. 

Michael Braun Endowed Fund

As the Director from 1995 to 2013, Michael Braun provided the vision and leadership for Arts Administration at the University of Kentucky. The Michael Braun Endowed Fund was created in honor of Professor Braun’s dedication and service to the Program and its students.

Through the Michael Braun Endowed Fund, awards of up to $1,000 each will be awarded annually to students seeking a BA or MA in Arts Administration who wish to enhance their educational endeavors by participating in an activity that enriches their knowledge of the arts administration profession or field including but not limited to, a study abroad program, an internship, a research or capstone project, or conference attendance. The first awards from the fund were presented in spring 2014.

Giving Options

We have the ability to customize your giving experience in a way that will be most convenient for you to be able to participate through several options:

• Multi-year pledge (just $50 per month for 5 years is $3,000)
• Monthly gift (e.g. $25 per month is a $300 annual gift)
• One-time gift

As a supporter of UK Arts Adminstration you will receive recognition on our website. Donors at the Angel Level and above are also eligible to receive recognition in the UK President’s Club.

Checks can be made out to “University of Kentucky.” In the memo line, please indicate which fund you wish to donate to: Arts Administration Development Fund, Emerging Arts Leader Award, or Michael Braun Endowed Fund. You will receive a letter of tax-deductibility information upon receipt of your gift.
